For hosts, parents and schools
Privacy and safety
Kondi is made for groups of all ages. Here is how we keep it safe, in short.
- No account for players
- No ads
- No tracking
- Games deleted after 90 days
Players need no account
Players join with the PIN on the big screen and a nickname. They give no email address, no name and no password.
A word filter blocks rude nicknames. In the lobby, the host can give a player a new random name or remove them.
What we keep, and for how long
Of a player, we keep only the nickname, the owl avatar and the answers. We delete them with the game, 90 days after it ends.
Of a host, we keep the email address for sign-in and the quizzes, until the host deletes them. Games go after 90 days too.
No ads and no tracking
Kondi shows no ads. It has no analytics or advertising scripts. Its cookies only keep you signed in, in your game and in your language.
Videos in quizzes play from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode.
AI, only when you ask
AI helps hosts write quizzes and suggest answers or tags, only when they ask. Players' nicknames and answers never go to an AI model.
Hosts can switch off all AI features on their profile. An AI model still checks the quizzes that they share, to keep the library safe.
A safe quiz library
Before other people see a shared quiz, an AI model checks it. If it is not sure, the quiz waits for an admin.
Signed-in users can report a quiz. Every report goes to an admin, and a quiz with several reports is hidden until an admin decides.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can see, take and delete your data. On “Your data”, you download all of it as a file, or delete your account and everything in it.
